As a vector of intellectual enrichment for our engineering students and added value for training and research, SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM’s international policy bears witness to the school’s great vitality !
SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM’s international policy hinges around three key ideas: its students’ international mobility, hosting large numbers of foreign students and international collaboration in the area of research. This openness contributes to enhancing training and research at the School, while making it possible to work closely with partner businesses in a globalised approach.
Be tempted by international mobility
International mobility is an incredible experience for developing linguistic fluency, inter-culturalism and adaptability. As the key players in their mobility project, our engineering students can in this way acquire transferable skills of great value in a globalised economic world.
Opening to international students
The School welcomes a growing number of students from very varied horizons (Europe, South America and Asia) on its Engineering and Masters’ courses. The doctoral pathway also counts large numbers of students from abroad who come to do their Doctoral thesis at FEMTO-ST. This institute is one of the largest Science and Technology laboratories in France, scoring A+ at the time of the last assessments by AERES in 2011. It comes under the aegis of SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM and of other higher education establishments in the region, grouped together in COMUE Bourgogne Franche Comté.
The international relations department
SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM’s international strategy is steered by the International Relations Department, which is tasked with a twofold mission:
- initiating, coordinating and implementing the School’s international policy,
- supporting the students’ and teacher-researchers’ international mobility projects, while also welcoming and guiding students from abroad who come to study at SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM.
