A bilateral programme for training engineers, BRAfitec (BRAsil France Ingénieurs TEChnologies) is supported by the French and Brazilian governments. It makes it possible to obtain grants for studying in Brazil !
The BRAfitec programme is part of the larger-scale FITEC programme (France Ingénieurs TEChnologies). The latter is coordinated by CDEFI, which encourages cooperation between French and foreign higher education establishments that train Master’s level engineers.
Beneficiaries
Students enrolled primarily at SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM and on the School’s BRAfitec projects.
Conditions for obtaining a grant
- Students are selected according to academic and technical criteria.
- The grant consists of a fixed contribution to travel expenses paid by CDEFI (France), along with a contribution to living expenses paid by CAPES (Brazil). The grant is not renewable. Please note that students who do not have French nationality are only eligible for the funding of their travel expenses.
- The stay must be for at least 6 months and for 12 months at the most. According to the SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM’s cooperation agreements this period is included in the training course.
- Beneficiaries undertake to submit an end-of-mobility certificate and report.
- Destinations: Campinas, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Uberlândia.
